Calendula Petals

Juniper Berries are spicy, sweet, with a piney aroma. They are delicious in stews and soups and with meats and are a common flavor ingredient in bitters. White oak's high tannin content provides an astrigent quality; it has been used to reduce bleeding in the mouth, to treat diarrhea, and as a first aid herb.* Calendula flowers have skin-soothing, protecting and toning properties. They are used in all types of skin care preparations including salves, body washes, scrubs, creams, ointments and lotions.

Bilberry leaves are astringent and have been traditionally used to support urinary tract health, including the kidney and bladder.
Also known as Bearberry, this herb has a long history of use for urinary tract infections. A source of the phytochemical arbutin, it is metabolized by the kidneys and excreted as antibacterial hydroquinones. Hydroquinones are an active antimicrobial especially in alkaline urine (do not use with Cranberry juice). It is useful for cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, and mild nephritis. Uva-Ursi is contra-indicated for pregnant women.

Warnings & Disclaimers:
Contraindicated in pregnancy; kidney disorders, irritated digestive conditions, and with acidic urine or in conjunction with remedies which produce acidic urine; not for prolonged use without consulting a practitioner.

We prepare our Goldenrod Extract from fresh (undried) flowering tops of Solidago spp. plants which are Certified Organically Grown on our own farm without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides or are Custom Wildcrafted in their natural wild habitat. To assure optimal extraction of Goldenrod's bioactive compounds, the uppermost tops of the plants are hand-harvested when just beginning to flower and are then taken directly to our laboratory and promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent.

Our Goldenrod is never fumigated or irradiated.

Our organic Goldenseal is harvested at its peak potency from the fertile volcanic soils of our certified organic farm.

Goldenseal is another popular herb among the Native Americans that evolved to become an official herbal remedy in the United States Pharmacopeia. It has traditionally been referred to as "King of the Mucous Membranes," as it was known to help regulate secretions of the mucous membranes.

Goldenseal contains powerful alkaloids, giving it the distinctive yellow-gold color. Presently, this herb is one of the five top-selling herbal products in the United States.

Organic cultivation of this important plant is necessary to preserve diminishing wild stocks, in short supply from many years of over-harvesting. Our organic Goldenseal is from our certified organic farm and the rhizomes and roots are freshly harvested, dried, milled and promptly encapsulated.

Warnings & Disclaimers:
Do not take Goldenseal supplements if pregnant or nursing. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue if unusual symptoms occur. Do not exceed recommended dose unless under the guidance of a health care professional.
