Organic Eucalyptus Leaf
SMILE Price: $2.99

Elecampane helps rid the lungs of excess mucous. It provides relief when the respiratory system is exhausted from coughing and infection. It is most commonly used in cases of emphysema and bronchitis when the lungs are struggling with mucous.

Elecampane has a high essential oil content and therefore has a strong anti-bacterial effect. It soothes and heals damaged respiratory tissue and stimulates the respiratory system toward normal, healthy function.

It also helps with digestion and asthma.
Nettle is traditionally used for providing relief from allergies, and for use as a nutritive tonic. It is excellent for supporting a healthy inflammatory response, respiratory health, and liver support. Nettle also helps to soften skin and support healthy, luxuriant hair growth. Eucalyptus  leaves contain eucalyptol, a common flavoring ingredient in commercial mouthwash, cough drops and vaporizer fluids.
Bayberry (Myrica cerifera) is a circulatory stimulant. It is warming and encourages "flow" throughout the body. It dissolves excess mucous and helps it pass from the body. Bayberry is often found in cough and cold formulas as it breaks up mucous and contains anti-microbial essential oils. It is excellent as a gargle for sore throats. As a mouthwash, it supports good oral hygiene.

Bayberry is an astringent herb, and it is helpful in cases of diarrhea and dysentery. It is also used for excessive menstrual bleeding and uterine discharge.
Personality
Lively, lovely and delightful.

Herbal Power
Aromatic and sweetly minty, spearmint is widely used as a refreshing beverage.

Reason to Love
We like to think of spearmint as the fun-loving, slightly less intense cousin of peppermint. In fact, spearmint and peppermint are so closely related, and look so much alike, they're often confused for one another. Soft and sweet, with that characteristic minty zing, spearmint is so named because of its pointy, spear-like leaves. Milder than peppermint, it is still aromatic and refreshing. We love it for its distinctly spearminty, mildly sweet flavor.

Taste
Fragrant, sweet and minty.

Reason to Love
Echinacea, or purple coneflower, was used by a number of Native American tribes for hundreds of years before it was introduced into Western herbal traditions. Echinacea is renowned and widely studied for its ability to promote a healthy immune system response. Our herbalists combined it with elderberry concentrate to add a deeply purple twist to our popular Echinacea Plus tea.

Combined with licorice and marshmallow root, we think this tea blend is like taking your voice to the spa-because we all need a little comfort sometimes so we can get back to being our best.
