Black Cohosh is best known as a normalizing herb for women’s hormones, and it is especially helpful during the menopausal years. It helps relax and balance the female reproductive system, aiding in painful or irregular menstruation, cramping, and hormone imbalance. But this herb is not just for women! Black Cohosh is also a key ingredient in any herbal protocol for neuralgia and sciatica. It helps to normalize nervous system functions, helping to heal damaged nerves and prevent “misfiring” and nerve pain.  It can also be very helpful for arthritis and muscular pain. Black Cohosh is also a relaxing nervine and a mild antidepressant, especially when combined with other nervine and sedative herbs. As an anti-spasmodic, Black Cohosh can be employed in cases of whooping cough and cramp. Combined with other herbs, it can help with asthma and bronchial spasms. Skullcap is a soothing, cooling nervine that eases tension, calms muscle
spasms, and acts as a general anti-inflammatory and pain  reliever.
Skullcap has a rejuvenating effect on the nervous system and may be used
in cases of nervous exhaustion, pre-menstrual tension, headaches, and
depression. Skullcap is known for being helpful in the breaking of
addictions by soothing the tension that comes from  withdrawal.  It is
especially helpful for weaning off of sleeping pills. As a sedative and
an antispasmodic, Skullcap is very helpful in treating anxiety, nerves,
and convulsions of various kinds. It has been known to help with
epilepsy, seizures, and hysterical states. Skullcap can be found in many
herbal formulas for stress, anxiety, and insomnia. It cools the brain
and promotes meditation, allowing for a greater range of emotional
flexibility, especially when one is prone to fits of anger.
Personality
Lively, lovely and delightful.

Herbal Power
Aromatic and sweetly minty, spearmint is widely used as a refreshing beverage.

Reason to Love
We like to think of spearmint as the fun-loving, slightly less intense cousin of peppermint. In fact, spearmint and peppermint are so closely related, and look so much alike, they're often confused for one another. Soft and sweet, with that characteristic minty zing, spearmint is so named because of its pointy, spear-like leaves. Milder than peppermint, it is still aromatic and refreshing. We love it for its distinctly spearminty, mildly sweet flavor.

Taste
Fragrant, sweet and minty.
